Started in 2014 to get X-rays to nursing home residents. Now in 48 states.
VuePoint Diagnostics was founded in Birmingham, Alabama, because getting a skilled nursing resident to an imaging center meant an ambulance, a staff escort, and a care plan on hold. Bringing the equipment to the patient fixed that. The same idea now runs a national preventive screening business for Medicare Advantage plans.

What we do
Licensed technologists and clinicians perform exams with hospital-grade portable equipment wherever the patient is — a home, a skilled nursing facility, a primary care office, or a community event. Every study is interpreted by U.S.-based, board-certified physicians and delivered through VueConnect, our HITRUST i1-certified platform, into the client's quality and clinical systems.
- Preventive screenings
- Diabetic retinal exams, bone mineral density testing, blood pressure checks — for health plans, nationwide
- Portable imaging
- Digital X-ray, ultrasound, echocardiography, 12-lead EKG — for facilities and practices in Alabama and Florida
- Who we serve
- Medicare Advantage plans, ACOs, skilled nursing and assisted living, home health and hospice, primary care and geriatric practices
- Our purpose
- To improve every life we touch by delivering caring and versatile access to mobile services that inform healthcare decisions. Better.
“VuePoint Diagnostics was built from the ground up to provide highly experienced, agile response teams to help health plans and providers address health service needs and reduce critical access-to-care issues. From the beginning, we set — and now maintain — a patient-focused, higher standard of service that our patients and clients deserve.”
